Welcome to our Sanctuary....

Over the years many of our volunteers have rescued a number of animals that do not meet our adoption standards due to chronic medical conditions, age or socialization issues.  We have a small, private sanctuary that we affectionately refer to as “the barn” where we provide a home for these animals and care for them.  On the average, it costs us $30 a month to provide food, litter, medical care and utilities for each animal that lives there. 

SMART Rescue has recently purchased land in Montgomery County in order to provide more space and opportunity for our sanctuary. We are currently seeking donations of  building materials, labor and money to help us in building our new sactuary.
